Chris Loos, Community Coordinator
Chris Loos has over 30 years of experience in large market media, interviewing iconic figures such as Eminem, Mike Tyson, Jim Brown, and Kendrick Lamar in his illustrious radio career. A pioneer in transitioning radio stations and personalities to YouTube, Loos is more than just a "radio guy." His local initiatives led him to the role of KgemTV’s Community Coordinator, where he adeptly amplifies community voices with what has become an award winning program like the City Council recap, and the more recent School Board recap. He's produced other shows like How to Run for Office, Digital Dialogues, and organized events like the House Party at the Park, which brings neighborhoods, and alumni together for a good time each year. Connecting, and empowering people is always at the root of his work. Driven by a commitment to inspire, Loos has connected with countless students through motivational talks across various markets, encouraging them to pursue their best selves. As founder of the iDream Society, he passionately supports the next wave of creatives, artists & entrepreneurs through innovative workshops & programming. Collaborating with the Black Chamber of Commerce in the Inland Empire, and Entrepreneur High Schools, they delivered the first DREAM CHASERS career day, which he hopes to bring here to Monrovia. Recognized nationally in 2024 by the Alliance for Community Media with the Jewell Ryan White award for cultural diversity. Loos’ unwavering passion fuels a journey where each endeavor leaves a lasting legacy in both media and his community.
